Are you self taught or have attended an art school? 

University and Community college courses, as well as workshops with Courtney Milne and Andre Gallant.

Who or what inspires you? 

The natural world has so many textures and shapes I could spend all my time there.

How would you describe your style or process? 

I tend to be very literal and linear, so I work hard to add the artistic/abstract element to my natural element.

Where may people find more of your work?

My work can be found at Cedarcrest year round, Carter House, Fullerton’s Corner Market and Moonshine Hollow in Kars during the summer months, at the Kingson Farmers Market from may to November as well as at the Gallery in Long Reach.

What are you currently working on? 

I recently took up rug hooking, and have hooked several of my photographs.  I have several more in mind.

 

What is your idea of a dream trip?  

A photography tour of Ireland.

What would you like to accomplish in the next three years? 

Hook some large pieces based on my favorite photographs.
