Getting to know Tammy Cassidy

What time of day are you most productive?
I work best early in the morning. I’ll wander downstairs to my studio with a cup of tea before breakfast and end up painting in my pyjamas!

What are you currently working on?
Right now I’m working on a large 3 x 3′ abstract. I’ve been photographing the process and would like to display these photos during the studio tour. It’s a great way to show the metamorphosis of a painting!

Over the next five years what do you hope to be doing?
I hope to be working on my art full-time. Ive started exploring oil paint and pastel as well and I’m excited about continuing to learn and grow as an artist!

Dream vacation?
We love traveling and hiking through Europe! There are so many destinations on my wish list in Canada and abroad!

What music do you usually listen to while working?
Usually classical though I will also listen to the eclectic mix on my daughter’s iPod as well…or silence.
